I had today off from work, so after everyone else was out of the house, I patted my Aussie on the head and headed out to put the glass tape on the hull/deck seams. this went quite smoothly, though it took a little patience to get the fillet out of a ziploc to work just right. Good thing all of this is on the inside of the bulkheads where it won't be seen by anyone... Obviously, the cockpit was a different story.

Here it is after having done the seams; I also took the time to fillet the gap between the bulkheads and the deck, and glassed the stern side of the rear bulkhead/deck joint.

This afternoon, I went out and sanded down the hull with 120 grit paper to get rid of all of the epoxy drips - I wanted to get this done with the orbital sander now, as I'll be hand sanding any gaps I fill in the joints with epoxy/wood flour mix. Boy did this boat clean up nicely :-)

And here are some details of the finger joints and the pipe I used (in addition to my end pour) for the toggles.

I'm going to take a night off tonight, and fillet any gaps in the seams tomorrow morning, as well as clean up the hatch openings.
