I have a few more odds and ends to take care of in the shop...but you're right, the featherboards will need some way to auto adjust to maintain their position because clamps aren't going to cut it. I did a test run with some stock and the single compression clamps weren't enough to hold it in position over time. I'll need to cut some miter sliders and press in some 1/4" threads, that should be enough to immobilize them.

Part of the issue is is I have a dinky table saw - one of those Bosch jobsite saws...it's decent enough and since there's a Diablo blade on there anyway - it doesn't need to do much more. But work surface is an issue and I find that I have to supplement the very small work surface with rollers or other infeed/outfeed rigs.

I just got finished building yet another table - I think I'm up to 4 work benches, 2 assembly tables, a router table, and a castered base...there never seems to be enough tables to put your tools on :)

I also found out why my tablesaw was spitting so much saw dust back at me...I had the suction set to its lowest setting...all the same, I'll still probably install that blower/vent in the window just to get some ventilation going.
