It is indeed purpleheart and hard maple, currently working on 4 at once, 2 purpleheart/maple, 1 each Jabota/maple, and black walnut and maple for my kids and sister-in-law. Convinced my wife I needed a planer to build em, so that is a good thing... Now if I can only figure out how to get a new table saw..lol
