I've not done this, but from what I understand the bevel is only on one side of the strip, not on both sides. Also both sides of a strip can be the outside on the boat, so if you cut the strips twice as wide as normal plus the thickness of the saw kerf with 90 degree cuts on all sides, then tilt the blade to your desired angle (I've heard from 3 -7 degrees from various people) you'll end up with two strips one side with a 90 degree cut and one side with an angled cut, exactly what you want. You may want to stack the strips after cutting them so the angled side are all facing the same way since that angle may well not be all that obvious when you pick up a strip and could easily be put on the boat the wrong way.
