Thank you for the reply. I do know that group. In fact Jack Gilman taught my grandson and I how to sew up a nylon skin for a kayak we built together a while back.
But unfortunately that is not the group I am trying to make contact with. A couple of people from the group I am seeking to make contact with folks attended an Open House at our Northeastern Woodworkers Association shop in the Albany NY area. I would like to make contact with them to see if there is some common interests with our Kingston, NY based NWA Chapter.
Plus I would really like meet them as all the woodworkers in our club make furniture or turn things. Nice, but it is not "Messing Around in Boats"
