I've not tried it, but when I draw it out on a large scale, as you go around the more curved section of the hull, there tends to be a gap open up.
Large scale exaggerates and it might not matter since the glue does fill some gap.
I didn't like the idea since typical Titebond 2 dries faster and stronger in a minimum gap. Too big and it sometimes takes days, like a bead on the surface.

I'd rather hear what you think since you did it.
