I had one boat that really warped on me (before I learned to keep forms in them). You can use the ratchet straps and along the sides where one half was out too far, I would put in a small block under the strap - across the seam and that would force it back into alignment.

For a section where it had to be pulled out: I made a tool from a piece of thin metal shaped like an "L". I would grab the piece that needed to be pulled out with the tool and once I had it out in alignment, I would tighten the ratchet strap next to it. There's a point when the friction of the deck and hull edges holds it together and yet you can still pull out the tool. A 2nd person helps but you can do this alone. I used a thin cabinet hinge to make the tool and screwed it to a handle.

I also helped someone with a build that was in real trouble with alignment - like a half inch off. We heated the inside a bit. We drilled some holes with blocks on the inside and used bolts and wing nuts and outside blocks to crank it into shape. We just taped around the braces from the inside and later after removing the blocks, we taped those spots. Once the small holes were filled, you could never see them. We did use two layers of tape on the inside stress areas to be safe.
