I've got a real antique on hand Porter Cable that still runs, must have a thousand hours on it, but it's heavy. I've got a pair of Bosch sanders the old one is a real work horse, I've removed the finish from like 50 30'+ boats and a couple houses and it's still going strong. It's also heavy and two handed. The newer one works pretty well, not anywhere near as rugged but it's dust collection works very well. I've also got a cheap, like $20, very light Ryobi that works really well for light jobs, but it won't last forever, I don't use it on big jobs.

They all work, all have their place.

The Rigid tools that I've bought, have a really great trim router from them, seem pretty darned good, Harley orange too.
