No I completely agree...and I've been down this path before...rush the setup and you're destined for a world of hurt. I have some time to revisit the setup now that the strip part's on hold while I work this out, but I'm going to restring the snap lines and do another verification that everything's leveled.

It seems that as I added weight to the strongback, a few areas settled and twisted, which of course throws off all the verification measurements if you're measuring using a defective reference point.

Gives me time to go back to home depot for yet another dozen spring clips haha :)
