Those results - which show higher 'strength' if epoxy is applied to the wood and the glass laid into the wet epoxy - are interesting.
Since I'll never (again- I tried it once, I think) try to lay dry glass cloth on to a wet boat, it's hard to see a way for me to apply those results.
It's a pity they didn't (as far as I could see - I should have hit 'pause more often) test the 'standard method' of applying a seal coat, letting it cure, scuff sanding and then glass with epoxy over.

You engineering and materials testing guys should jump in : Is it standard to clamp the edges of the material in such tests? Wouldn't clamp pressure affect the results? (The 'weak' samples seemed to pop out of the clamps easily...)

Also, the 'really good' wood panel looked a lot different than the others, but perhaps that was just the epoxy saturation...

Still, food for thought.....
