Depends on the shape of the boat and mostly the position of that station. Try this on a SOF when you first put the stations on the stringers, if the stations aren't pulled to the proper locations there will be very little if any rocker in the hull and you'll have a much different shape than what's on the plan.
Similar with a stripper, depends on the shape and if it allows the woods natural bends to allow the shape to develop or not.
