For me it's easy and relatively inexpensive to just take the plans to one of the office supply places that make copies and let them make an exact paper copy that I can cut up to make patterns from while leaving the original plans intact.

You are referring to plans that have each station printed separately (spread over several sheets?) ?
For 'traditional' plans which have the stations superimposed (which I much prefer), you need to make 12-24 copies, no?
Or are you just gluing 'C'-shaped paper pieces to the form material?
