I don't know which one the 15R is, but I think this boat is like 4" narrower, you can easily feel a half inch narrower, 4" is HUGE. It'll take a while to get used to the difference, just paddle it. Practice wet exits in shallow water first and re-entries (unless you've got a great roll already) so you can relax knowing that if you flip it it's not a big deal.

Oh yeah, float bags, if you don't have them, get or make them. Tom Yost has plans for them on his site along with the boat plans. Takes a very long time to bail a SOF filled completely with water and they float low enough without float bags that you might not be able to bail it if there are any waves.
