Thigh braces

In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: Sea Tour 15R stability (Rich W)

Make sure you have thigh braces or pads before you make any judgement as far as stability. If you're just sitting there without thigh contact, any boat will feel tippy. Having thigh contact will make an enormous difference. Granted, you have to learn to use the paddle for bracing and bracing strokes but just floating in the boat is not the best way to control any kayak.
