I have red cedar strips cut to 1/4 x 3/4 that have been bundled up and stored in the garage for about 5 years. I am looking to build a kayak this spring and was wondering if they are still usable or do I have a pile of nice smelling kindling?
They should be fine. I'm still using strips that I milled 10 years ago.
