well..... I know it will not be pvc because brilliant though it is I have aesthetic problems with the wrinkles.

I live in England and am building the kayak in Denmark (cross country marriage till the kids are all at University). Which gives me the option of buying the fabric in uk or europe. There are not so many options as in the States where sof is more supported.

I would like a white boat. Polyester possibly because of its stability. Strong, so 12oz perhaps. But past that I hav'nt got a clue, and I don't know what is available and where to get it. Cost is a consideration to.

I'm reading and reading and reading!!! :-)
