I don't think there is any "right way" to do it, two things to bear in mind are:
1 make sure that the hull is not stuck to the forms if you decide to go on stripping the deck
2 If you take the hull off the forms and fibre-glass it, make sure you use spreader sticks to keep it exactly the right width - I put them every third station.
