Thanks for all the replies. Learned quite a bit:) I ended up using cabinet scrapers, both rectangular and rounded, mostly because i wanted to add them to my woodworking skills, still not that adept at putting the edge on, kind of slow scraping but good exercise. Have a few paint and contour scrapers I got out too. Reshaping an old 2 inch paint scraper seems like a good idea. That long handled scraper Nick mentions looks like it might be the ticket for the interior surfaces. I have a couple ROS including the right angle porter cable and intend to put them to good use, I too feel that right angle design is harder to manage and fatiguing, though powerful. Just about ready to sand!
