When it comes to justifying the price of expensive tools, remember, if it's a business, it's a tax deduction or "expense".
I know the drill 'you can't take a tax deduction to the grocery store" but never-the-less it is an expense deduction. So for hobbyists, they carry the full load of the purchase. I think if we all hit the lottery, we would all buy expensive things regardless if it's really worth it or not.

BTW: my DeWalt ROS does not slow down no matter how much pressure you put on it and that's a fact. I bought it because I read that in a review and other then putting your full weight on it, it never slows down. I'm more interested in a great dust collection system with the sander than it's supposed cutting power and I would like to update to that.

Last, I like Norton discs. In spite of all the claims, I seem to get good cutting power and life from them over anything else I tried and I think its because they seem to have breathing room on the surface ??
