Yep, that is what I was imagining. I'm still thinking that way, I would need to make even more holes in the deck for additional bolts. -- And the possibility of pulling the rims out of alignment, which John points out.

I'm really thinking just "fuse" the rims to the deck with the 5200, rather than having several movable components squeezed together with pressure points, I'm pretty sure the water that sits on deck will still find it's way into that channel around the lip/deck and past the squishy gasket.
