OK, now I am understanding this thought line. I wasn't considering glueing the strip directly to the form face and could not see how this was going to work. Now that glueing to the form face has been eliminated - - - I still don't see how this is going to work. There is a point real early in the build that the glue gun is not going to fit inside to deposit the glue along the edge of the form and strip and it only gets worse fast. Plus, there are many compound curves that take a heat gun to bend the strips, I don't see hot glue holding this area in place until the Titebond dries. I use hot glue very sparingly because it does tear out chunks of Cedar when removed so, in the spirit of always looking for quicker/easier/better ways of doing things - what am I missing here??
