I do the same as Bill and usually only need to hot glue the first couple of strips and then about 6 strips above that. I use the U shaped holders with a spring clamp on each form and do an ET special inner-tube with a spring clamp between each form. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=te5K0w-z_ko (I use a tape wrap on the first few strips and move to the inner-tube). Like mentioned earlier you can never have enough spring clamps.
