I am thinking of using flotation bags instead of packing foam in the hull. Has anybody had
any experience, good or bad, with float bags?

I use the float bags from skinboats.org ... I received them quickly after ordering ... they were well made ... haven't had a leak in over 3 years ... haven't even had to top 'em off.

I've made float bags using clear vinyl ala Yost ... but they weighed a ton.
