I finally completed and launched my Guillemot L (Sydney Australia) . While it is a bit rough compared to some of the masterpieces I see on this forum I am very happy with the result and it proves you do not need to be a master trades person.

I would like to thank Nick's book and all the people on the forum. I did not ask many questions but the forum has excellent search capabilities.

I enjoyed the build though I found fibreglassing not as enyoyable as the woodwork and being a sailor and not a kayaker I had some difficulty when the instructions told me to build something to my own preference ie hatch sizes, skegs etc.

The boat ended up 20Kg which I was reasonably happy with.
