I know most of the regulars that post here are truly experienced kayakers and make safety a priority, so this is aimed a the new paddlers reading this. It is just the middle of March and allready I have read of 1 kayaker dead and another that is missing and likely dead

AIR TEMP IS IRRELEVANT PEOPLE!! ALL that matters is the water temp!!

Dress as if you were going swimming, not kayaking.
