I am sold on Joes mini-cell seats. I tired several things and these provide all day comfort. I buy the precarved base and send a template of the hull shape, they trim the blank to fit. I install one of my backbands then. They are not cheap but they worth the cost to me.

One of these days, if I ever settle on a go-to boat I am going to buy one of his complete seat units.
