At first, I thought it was similar to a S&G but the constraint of being one continuous flat sheet is much tougher. I guess double folds or pleats would remove this constraint but that's more complicated and probably less reliable. I am very impressed by the apparent maturity of this kick starter product. That latch that ties the rear deck, coaming, and seat back together is very nicely done. Having said all this, I'd rather build a Yost folding design for travel but first I need to conquer my Yost sea tour 15R. I'm leaving Sunday for ten days at Huntington Beach state park in SC. I'm planning on getting some more paddling time in the sea tour.
