Looks very nice but I am curious: Did you tweak the bow? Looks a little ski...But I am not too familiar with the Mystery.
And is it different woods that give the coloration on the sides?

As designed, the Mystery has a lot of buoyancy in the bow for getting through ocean waves. But since this will be a river boat, I reduced the volume in the bow and adjusted the bow below the waterline to better shed weeds. Also, I needed to raise the deck an inch where my feet are to accommodate my large feet.

The wood is paulownia which is yellow/tan in color, the dark brown coloration is West micro-balloons. I used 3/32" thick wood in the deck, hence I had to minimize sanding and leave a lot of the filler showing. I plan on painting it sometime in the next couple of weeks.

The training wheels on the stern are because this boat is more tippy than I am used to.... kidding. They are to aid in the portages in the Run of the Charles Race in Boston. The RotC race features 6 portages that range from 0.1 to .5 miles.
