I would suggest trying either some small curved files or take a hail, bend it, file a chisel point on it and start scraping away. It will be tedious but if the epoxy has not set up too hard should be doable. You may even want to make a small metal shield that you can slip partway in and use to spread the force out so you can pry against it to scrape the plug.
