Scarf Joints: I have different sanders, and a router. And some extra sheets of plywood ;-) Nails is o good idea and i will try that. And probably some kind of jig to keep the angle.

Since im making two joints on one piece ( Sides ) i wonder if i should go for :
one length of plywood around the cockpit and then two shorter ends,
or
two fully lenghts, with the joint in the cockpit area, and one small piece at the end.
The first option seems right too me.. but i could be missing something

Table/strongback is the first part of the project as i dont have a shop, but only a 20 foot garage. The table needs to be hoisted to the ceiling sometimes.
