If it was just squeeze out you could just sand some more but on close inspection it looks like gaps in the wood.

Get some dark brown acrylic paint at craft dept walmart and with a small pointed brush paint them. You can re dampen the wood to see them clearly. That tiny bit of paint won't bother the epoxy or glass.
