It would take a lot of care but you could cut off the end, trim out several of the strips in the boat that is left, reinsert the forms, and restrip the stern. Then peel back some of the fiberglass, reglass, etc. probably would have to do the hull, back out the forms, glass the inside, put the forms in, strip the deck. pull the forms again. I think the deck could just be epoxied without glass inside. glass the outside and you would be good to go. Add some decorative onlay it needed to camouflage the splice.

Or cut it into 3 parts, double bulkheads, build a new stern 1/3d and you have a take apart kayak

Just brainstorming.
