I got out for a couple of evening paddles this week on our days that reached the century mark. Once the sun was low the temperature dropped and the wildlife became active again and I was able to watch all kinds of behavior. One advantage to morning is there are fewer pleasure boaters they are a species that don't become active until about 10:00 A.M. In the evening I have more wake from distant boats that makes picture taking a little more difficult.
