Hello. I am a beginner builder, using the strip build book by Nick Schade to build a guillemotte.. I have not taken a kayak building class. I thought things were going pretty well until when I finished the hull and flipped it over. The bow from the end of the strongback vears off to one side due to my poor technique joining the ends. I should have watched the videos more to understand how to do this better. I attempted alternating sides to create the bow, but it got pushed to one side and I didnt notice it in the confines of my workspace I saw some suggestions on another thread about fixing a problem like this and I thought it would be wise to address this before I went any farther. I am not starting over and i am not scrapping it. Its just wood and I know it can be fixed. My next one will be straight.
