Strip: Skeg build

Et,

Just trying out your skeg build. How did you fuse the stainless steel wire to the swaged terminal eye? Crimping? Did you crimp it and then feed the wire thru your pressure fitting? How is it working now? Did the wire fray? I like the Mike Trutwin carbon fiber method, and used it on my last two builds, but am considering going to do the weeklong Canadian Bowran Lakes loop next year, and want something "bombproof" on my next build.
