Strip: Great Auk leaks.

Guys,

I am on my 6th strip build and non have leaked up until this point. My Great Auk came out beautiful and I love it. However, i am taking on slight amounts of water in the bow as well as the stern. I have 1 layer of 4oz glass on the bottom with 1 resin fill coat on top.
I am trying to avoid adding another layer of glass. Would one more coat of resin stop any small leaks or should i add another coat of glass? Thanks You!!!
