That's a tough one. I feel the petrel style deck would look odd on this one, the more vertical sides would detract from the line of the sheer.

For greenland style boats I probably prefer the look of a rounded deck because the compound curves seem to compliment the sweep of the sheer.

In this case though, the boat has quite an angular aggressive profile in the sheer of the foredeck in particular. I'm afraid I like the peaked deck on this one for looks.

I also think the boat would actually look more dynamic with a smaller cockpit that has more lift in the front... That is, no recess. But you may not like small cockpits.

But looks are not everything, and this is only one opinion, be it the considered opinion of a highly erudite fellow.
