If you're going to go with fiberglass over Dacron you don't need the extra weight of the fabric. If you want a bullet proof cover use the same weight Dacron and use 6 ounce glass. I used that on the first boat and at 19' long it only weighs 34 lbs. but it's got a WRC frame but does have 3/4" thick birch frames so your weight should be similar. My first boat done this way is a stretched Sea Ranger, you'll love this boat.
