It really doesn't take a lot of time to do this, it's not like a clear finish on a wood boat, you will want to finish it usually with paint afterwards anyway. I would pick a cooler day for the epoxy but there's a fair amount of work before you'll need to do that
so you can start now if you want.

You can usually tell pretty quick if you'll need to split the fabric or not when you're laying it onto the frame, you can only shrink it so much, if it won't lay basically flat it'll need seams, usually at the stems. Like fiberglass it helps to lay the fabric on a bias, sort of corner to opposite diagonally corner onto the boat so that it'll drape the best that it will.
