Sorry, couldn't help it. The WRC was milled 4.5 years ago (we've had 2 kids that have put a serious dent in my free time), the basswood was milled in March or April. It's being built in my basement, and the temp doesn't seems to fluctuate that much. I think the strips running north and south are contracting and pulling the recess strips loose from the ends. No other parts show any damage. The ends apear to be centered. I've thought about puttying the gaps, but that's all I'd be able to look at while paddling. Also, I'm a carpenter, so bad joints just won't work. I'm attempting to send pics
