ET, I didn't get very serious about pictures when I was building but I did take some with my phone. I will take a look and see if I can put together a decent sequence. Thanks for pointing out Nicks boat I was not aware of it and that may be my next build, I have also been looking at the Dave Gentry Ruth http://gentrycustomboats.com/RUTHpage.html I plan to make a set up to row the Merry Sea tandem also.The rowing frames are the killer. I picked up an exercise one at a second hand store for $10 I think I can convert. The side slot is the same as on the expensive ones so I hope to be able to buy the two plates for the adjustable foot stretcher. Merry Wherry and Angus Row Boats both have designs for building your own hollow rectangular oars, the Merry Wherry one include 3 blade shapes. I am thinking about trying to build a true tapered birds beak shaft with the tapper ending for the last 2 feet near the handle. I think If I tapper the entire board before I cut the slats it may work.
