Sorry to hear that. As I have said, I just teach it so I have no control over that. I would have no problem with it. Our average age is probably 65 so I am guessing they don't want kids and Seniors mixed together in the class?

They have Inter-Generational classes which are usually kids and Grandparents, sometime parents. I proposed a Kids Canoe build but it they rejected it. Wanted to build a short fat kids canoe. A quick and dirty boat that the kids could build with the Adult helping in say 3 days. The goal was to get 2 or 3 years use out of it before they outgrew it.
