I am a complete newbie, so I apologise in advance for any boobs or repetitions from previous threads.

I'm hoping to build a strip kayak next spring. I want a sea kayak big enough to handle a week long trip without needing to take the kitchen sink! I have been thinking of the Guillemot Expedition or the Redfish Silver or Return. I'd welcome any input.

As I am in Victoria BC this month, a good place for outdoor types and kayaks, so I thought there might be someone in the area who has built one of these that they would let me take a look at to help my choice.

Can anyone help?
