Hi Dave,
The Great Auk Double is 21 feet long, so allowing for a little spare each piece for glassing will need to be 22 feet long.
You need to glass four times, inside and outside of the deck and hull, and with a beam of 26 inches the hull glass will need to be about 1 1/2 times that wide, ie about three feet - but for God's sake check the distance around the outside of the hull at the widest point before ordering!
So you need 88 feet of 3 foot wide glass, and if you are careful with scraps you should have enough for the cockpit rim and hatch lips, but I would add another 2 feet for safety.
If you decide to go with carbon/kevlar for the inside, then I would suggest 46 feet of 6 oz fibreglass and you can probably get away with about 40 feet of carbon/kevlar if you lay it across the boat and cut it accurately to the lengths needed. More than 2 inches of overlap is a waste.
I would NOT recommend using carbon/kevlar, it is much more expensive, much harder to wet out, and doesn't actually add that much strength - it does look very cool, though. If you do use it, watch Uncle Nick's video at least ten times! Also at the overlaps NEVER try and wet out both thicknesses at once, get the edge of one piece well and truly wet out and then put the next piece on top and wet it out as well. I would also definitely recommend a seal coat under carbon/kevlar.
I would recommend glassing the outside first, before you take it off the forms and strongback - the unglassed hull and deck are not very strong, and sanding it you may crack a few joints between strips.
Also if you have never glassed before, the outside is easier than the inside (the cloth is pulled onto the convex shape as you squeegee/brush/roll the epoxy, not off the concave shape) so that's another reason to do the outside first.
YMMV, of course.
