I have been working on a Night Heron hybrid and was a bit concerned about this. But figured out if the deck was devided into sections with borders I would be able to move from section to section,by the time I got back to the first section the glue "yellow carpenters glue" was dry .And if not there is always some trim pieces that need to be worked on. Many times I had 4-6 sections that were being worked on at the same time. The disadvantage is that you need to fit in more pieces. The advantage you will be using shorter strips, and it will be more decorative. Green tape (#2060 I think)worked great for me so far,
