I built a North Star for my son.
You can see it on Robs North Star page under the "home built" pictures.
Its the one that is stood up on end- that's my son.

The North Star really attracts attention. It is also very comfortable to me at 250#. But I wish I had of made a smaller one for my son's 190#'s.
If you do the shooting star get Rob's video on building the front end.
Then I suggest you build one just for practice. I first built a 4' section of the boat, front and back separately.
Well worth the extra effort for both ends.

You can mount them like a Moose Head on a plaque just to show off.
