You don't need to completely start over, generally the things I saw would be corrected by moving a single point.
And all of them on the gunwale.
You need to imagine the gunwale needs to be a smooth curve for most boats. So if you look at the gunwale intersections they should describe a smooth curve even if you are only looking from the front.

If you look on clcboats.com, they generally have a lines drawing of the kayaks, including the Great Auk.
Those are really small pictures and can't be blown up but you can probably see what I mean.

If you look in the side view in Nick's book you should see the same thing.

Agreed its better to change now.

Ask yourself how much you will spend on this boat.
Would it be worth while to buy the full sized plans? $90.

Lets see:
Epoxy +fillers + pumps = $200 (West System)
Glass cloth ~$100
Wood - ~$80 at a big box store with lots of hunting like you are doing.
Varnish - $40 for Minwax Helmsman
Sandpaper, gloves, brushes, stirring sticks - #50
Foot pegs if you buy them - $50
Seat/ backrest if you make them out of minicell foam - $40
Particle board and plywood for forms and 2x4 hardback (tooling) - $30
Paddle - Homemade from the book $15, or commercial $40 - $200
PDF - $30- $80
Safety lines/ hatches- closures - $50
Roof Rack for the car - Craigslist + proper feet - $100 or new $400

If you were like me I made lots of mistakes that had to be done twice.

When you look at the total, it might be worth it to buy the plans or even the forms ($200). Of course the forms have the rolled gunwale which I would not want to do again.

But my prices might be lots higher than you can manage, and you might just want to do the lofting.
