I'm leaning towards painting it. As long as my daughter doesn't want to keep the carbon look. Not sure if there is any Kevlar with the carbon, I haven't examined it too closely. After we get it, I'll get her input on a color scheme. I'd love to do it in yellow and black as that is her team's colors.
