I am building a micro bootlegger.

The sheer line of microBootlegger is parallel to the waterline at the middle of the boat. At the bow it sweeps up and at the stern it sweeps down. I generally run my strips straight, parallel to the waterline, starting at the sheer line at the middle of the boat, ignoring where the widest point at each end sweeps up and down.

This means the forms are a bit wider than the deck at the bow, and wider than the hull near the stern, but not enough to be an issue.
