I always wear mine. Twenty something years ago I built my first stripper using west and suffered horrible flu symptoms. At first I thought I was actually going down with a bout of flu, but the symptoms would go away after a few hours. I realised that these symptoms occurred every time I did large scale resin work.

I suffered through the first project, but did some research afterward and masked up with the appropriate 3M cartridges. I never had the problem again.

I can't say I enjoy the mask, but it hangs outside my epoxying tent and it is just automatic that I reach for it now.

I confess, that I don't use it for small jobs or for glueing jobs, especially if the doors are open.

I live in a cool climate, so all epoxying is undertaken in an enclosed plastic tent at high temperatures. If you live in a warm zone and have lots of ventilation maybe it wouldn't matter.
